Cleaning list for the kitchen

• Empty bins.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Dust all surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect all worktop and work surfaces and splashbacks.
• Wipe clean all small appliances appliances including kettle, toaster etc.
• Clean sink and taps, including plughole and wipe dry.
• Clean fully the outside of oven, hob and extractor hood.
• Clean fully the outside of any freestanding kitchen equipment including fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
• Wipe clean any table and chairs.

Within the bathroom or shower or ensuite or separate wc area:

• Empty bins.
• Clean and wash floors or vacuum as required.
• Dust all surfaces.
• Wash and disinfect the wc suite inc. bowl, seat. lid, cistern and handle.
• Clean bath, basin including plughole, taps and mirrors.
• Wipe down and clean shower door and enclosure glass
• Damp wipe all tile surfaces and dry off.
• Clean and wash worktops, work surfaces and open shelves.
• Wipe down cupboard fronts.
• Wipe clean light switches and shaver socket.
• Clean and disinfect all door handles/knobs.
• Wipe down doors and frames.

Within the bedroom areas:

• Remove cobwebs.
• Empty and clean bins and reline.
• Vacuum carpeted floors and dry/wet mop wooden floors.
• Dust all surfaces including picture frames and lamp shades.
• Wipe down furniture, wardrobes and drawers.
• Wipe down worktops and work surfaces.
• Vacuum and wipe clean accessible skirting boards.
• Clean and polish mirrors.
• Wipe down cupboard fronts.
• Wipe clean light switches.
• Clean and disinfect all door handles/knobs.

Within the living room, reception and entrance areas:

• Remove cobwebs.
• Empty bins and ashtrays, if any.
• Vacuum any carpet areas and dry/wet mop wooden floors.
• Vacuum cloth furniture and under cushions, but no moving of furniture.
• Wipe clean general surfaces.
• Dust accessible skirting boards, light fittings, furniture and general surfaces.
• Polish glass surfaces and mirrors.
• Dust picture frames and lamp shades.
• Wipe down doors including front entrance door.
• Clean and disinfect door handles.
• Wipe down cupboard fronts.
• Wipe down and disinfect light switches.
• Wipe down and clean/polish banisters and handrails.

Extras over and above normal cleaning areas:

• Clean the inside of the fridge.
• Clean the inside of the freezer (needs to be defrosted by you beforehand).
• Clean the inside of the oven.
